a nice weekend

it was a good weekend. it really was.

friday i picked jess up after school and she came with me to my dentist appointment. luckily, my teeth aren't going anywhere. lol. then we came home. we both were kinda going in and out of a funk, it made for a suspenseful afternoon. but it all worked out fine. : ) after that, we watched some tv, then went out and took about 2 hours to get some fast food for mom, jeff and us. it was ridiculous how long it took. i tried calling david while we waited, but we never got a hold of him. after we ate dinner, we listened to some music, talked, and played poker. jess beat me, fair and square, 2 out of 3 rounds. then i took her to mrs. skeoch's house where she was housesitting that weekend.

the next day i woke up about 10:30 when my mom called me to go and pick up some packages from the post office. i left the house at about 11:20 or so. i got there about 10 minutes later, and realized i forgot the slips. so i went back home and got them. so then i came back, at 11:50. they were already closed...what b.s. their sign says 12:00, so they're not sposed to close before then. oh well. that got mom in a bad mood with me. i asked her how i could make it up to her, and she said be home around 5 to help jeff clean up the porch. after that, i picked up jess and we went to the beach at sandcastles. it was really nice, with a funky smell though. lol. jess and i layed there for about 2 hours, we did get in the water for a few miutes this time though. it was really nice. after that, we went to pony club to feed the horses...only to find out they had already been fed. we found jess' watch that she had lost, and then we headed out. it was 5 when we headed out, so my mom wasn't too happy when we got home. thing is neither was jeff, so she went off on him when he got home too. i cleaned my room, then jess and i evacuated the area. we went by kmart to get our mother's day cards and the frames we were gonna paint for our moms.

jess' parents were going out that night to a restaurant, but they grilled some ribs for us and gave us some cornbread mix and cous-cous, so jess and i cooked that all for dinner. i turned the table outside into a candlelight dinner, so jess and i had our first candlelight dinner ever together. it was really cool. we got a few pictures of it, if jess will ever give them to me. after that, we painted our frames and explored the house for a while. i ended up crashing there that night around 3 am. the next morning i had a slight stomach ache, and we got everything cleaned up then boogied on outta there.

i slept when i got home, then cleaned my room real quick. my mom and i then went to stacia's house to have a mother's day/sam's birthday dinner. it was pretty cool, i had fun talking with sam, ted, stacia, and ret, but i also let them just talk amongst themselves and chilled on my laptop. i even talked with jenika for the first time directly in a long time. it was good to have a nice conversation with her; i'm glad things have worked out so well for both of us. i called jess and wished her good night, and then tried to call angie to wish her a happy mother's day.

today is already pretty interesting. someone took our class bench where it says 'class of 07' and painted over the cl. so now it's ass of 07. they even wrote fucc o7 on the table. mrs. white has been crying about it. i dunno, it's really not nice, but not something to ruin my day.

either way, it's going to be an awesome week, jess is comin over after school, poker with jeff's friends tonight, spring concert on wednesday, and then prom on saturday. inbetween that jess and i are gonna try filming her stuff for her fitzgerald project, it should be a lotta fun. anyways, i hope eveyone has an awesome week!
