it's never gonna be
a 'normal' you and me
what you're signing for is a storm at sea
so if you think you're tough
give me all your love
and i'll give you every little piece of me.

catch a falling star
you'll go far
in the pageant of the bizarre;
and tonight,
i give you my heart.

-'pageant of the bizarre' by Zero 7,
off their new album, 'The Garden'

that song fits this evening i think.

zero 7 has once again made a absolute work of art in their new album.
i absolutely love it.

it was an absolutely awesome day, other than a lil worrying at the beginning.

had a great time with jess, it seems like we really got to do what we wanted today. it was nice, i didn't even have plans for this weekend. i gave her my gift. i hope she enjoys it.

she came over about 3 pm, and we had to clean some cars for a lil bit; jeff and mom are selling their montero and jeep, so they needed to be cleaned. then jess and i went for a run. that was funny, we both came back completely zapped yet full of energy. we then watched a good bit of 'gunner palace' (great documentary in iraq, i would really recommend it to anyone, democrat or republican) till we stopped it for dinner. we had some bratwurst and salmon cakes. good stuff. then we made ourselves some mac and cheese. it's a cool thing to cook with her, it's something productive and something we both enjoy doing. after that, we just cuddled in the dark. it's nice.

i don't look for super adventure to try and define a good day. i just look for stuff to appreciate. jess and i both have car troubles right now, so we haven't been able to get out too much. still though, we've been having a lot of fun. nothing today really looks like it's out of the ordinary, i guess the run would be closest thing, but i still just enjoy her company a lot.

i wonder who reads this thing. i have metrics thing installed that tells me how many people read it, how many new people read it, and how many return readers read it.

i know jenika and jess read it, and i told kat and maggs that it existed, so i dunno who else does. for y'all's information, i have allowed anonymous posting, so you don't have to be a member or anything to post in here, but i really would ask that i don't start getting hate comments or that kinda stuff. if you read this entry and i actually know you personally, drop me a line if you would. click the lil pencil at the bottom right of this entry.

i hope y'all have a good week next week, it will be event-filled for me, i'm sure.

peace.
