and today was actually worth getting up for...
it was a long weekend...
just a lot of stress from all angles; parents, friends, and school.
thursday night was the dodgeball tournament...ooh man, we did not do good. lol. but jake's team won, so big props to them, and we'll see if we can bring a better offering in 2 weeks. mary was there to cheer us on, wearing the wristband i had made for all the WH II H people during C period, so that was very cool. there were twelve teams there, so that was a shock, we didn't expect there to be more than like 5 teams. but now we know, and i'm going to put together a better team for next round. no more of this 'krimson killers' junk, we need a real team that doesn't have a serious name. i was thinking 'the 5 dwarves'. i'll be 'grumpy', keith can be 'crazy', and pugh can be...i dunno, haven't worked that one out in my mind yet. lol. we'll see. either way, i want this not to be too serious, it's just fun, but i do like being able to compete. ooh, one more bit of trivia. i am officialy the first person to get knocked out in a CDS/GHS dodgeball tourney, so i'm immortal :-p
so after my second loss, i decided time with jess was worth more to me than time at that tourney, so jess and i decided to bounce.
man, we need our cars back. lol. i'm sure it will go by quickly, we just need a lil more patience.
friday franzi and i went to pony club and jess took us riding. unfortunately i didn't get a horse, but it was still a lot of fun walking with jess and franzi. i even found a Volkwagen engine cap, so that was funny. jess brought me some coconut husks, that was amusing. after that, we went to sunset grill and mom picked us up.
saturday was jess and mine's planned beach day, and things didn't start out too well, we both got a lil frustrated that our planning went out the window, so then i called kerstin, and the three of us went to the beach after jess was done with some prom shopping she was doing. i can't wait to see her prom night, i'm sure she'll the most stunning girl at both proms. she's drop dead gorgeous, and i'm sure prom night will be no let down. it's gonna be a night to remember.
time at the beach was fun, we walked over to some country day folks with edward and blake, and chilled with them for a few minutes. the only people i knew from CDS there were blake and velinda, and i didn't realize it was her till she got on top of edward. lol, i have no social memory.
sunday was easter. went to buck island, got a tan. jess had given me some eggs. it's the first time in over 10 years that i've gotten an easter present...makes me feel bad i didn't get her one... i started writing a short story on ther boat...it's about a guy riding a ferry from one tropical location to another, almost like in the med sea or over here. he is attracted by a girl 'the light seems to attach to'. i got the idea from a line in a couting crows song 'a long december';
monday was pretty rough, after jess and i had a long talk on sunday night...we both are under a lot pressure right now, but i think yesterday we smoothed out a good bit. i'm having a better day now, and i sure do hope she is too.
today's going smooth as of now, just had a lil bit of a hard time waking up today, but that's about it.
oh, i found out i got into the naval academy summer seminar yesterday. problem is, we got it yesterday (April 17th), and yet, it said that the paperwork was due back postmarked by the 15th. hmm. so i'm sure we can work it out, but still not too cool.
i put a bunch of my favorite cd's on the laptop yesterday, it's got almost 1000 songs on it now...once again, a mobile jukebox...lol.
talked with eric sunday night...always good to talk to him...he really has his stuff down, gave me some rules that i should try to follow.

i'm gonna try to take that one to heart, i've been living it pretty well lately, just cracked a lil last weekend.
i really do hope that it's gonna be an awesome week, not just for me, but i really hope jess has an absolutely amazing week. that would make me happy.
and so to anyone who reads this, be it me, jess or jenika or maybe even someone else who's actually looked at this thing, i bid you a wonderful week. i know i'm gonna make mine awesome.
